Josh Williams scored the only goal of the match in the 42nd minute as the Columbus Crew defeated the New England Revolution 1-0 at home.
At Orlando, Florida:
Nani scored twice (31', PK-89') as Orlando City defeated the visiting Colorado Rapids 4-3.
At Chester, Pennsylvania:
Cory Burke (85') and Alejandro Bedoya (90'+2) each scored once in the final minutes as the Philadelphia Union came from behind to knock off visiting FC Dallas 3-2.
At San Jose, California:
Shea Salinas (15'), Danny Hoesen (33'), and Cristian Espinoza (34') each scored once as the San Jose Earthquakes dominated the visiting Portland Timbers 3-0 for their first win of the season.
At Seattle:
Nicolas Lodeiro scored the only goal of the match in the 18th minute as the Seattle Sounders defeated visiting Real Salt Lake 1-0.
