UEFA Champions League: Barca and Ajax Advance to Semifinals

The UEFA Champions League's quarterfinal round resumed on Tuesday with two games.

At Turin, Italy:

Donny Van de Beek (34', shown here) and Matthijs de Ligt (67') each scored once as Ajax Amsterdam knocked off Juventus 2-1 on the road in game two and eliminated the Italian champions 3-2 on aggregate to reach the semifinal round for the first time since 1997.

At Barcelona:

Lionel Messi scored twice (16', 20'; that's him celebrating here) as Barcelona dominated visiting Manchester United 3-0 in game two and ousted the Red Devils 4-0 on aggregate.
