MLS: Cityzens, DC, Impact Score Wednesday Wins

Five games, were contested in Major League Soccer on Wednesday.

At New York:

Valentin Castellanos scored the only goal of New York City's 1-0 home victory over the Chicago Fire in the ninth minute.

At Columbus, Ohio:

Wayne Rooney scored the only goal of the match in the 27th minute as DC United defeated the visiting Columbus Crew 1-0.

At Foxborough, Massachusetts:

Anthony Jackson-Hamel scored twice (85', 90') as the Montreal Impact delivered a 3-0 road beat-down on the New England Revolution.

At St. Paul, Minnesota:

Minnesota United and the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy battled to a 0-0 stalemate.

At Seattle:

Kelvin Leerdam (65') and Harry Shipp (67') each scored a second-half goal two minutes apart as the Seattle Sounders came back from a two-goal deficit to gain a 2-2 home draw with the San Jose Earthquakes.

Shea Salinas scored both of the Quakes' goals (34', 53').
