Roy Makaay scored the only goal of the match (8') as Bayern Munich gave Ottmar Hitzfeld his first win since returning as Bayern's head coach, a 1-0 home win over Arminia Bielefeld, whose coach, Thomas von Heesen will step down on Monday.
At Bochum:
Ivan Saenko's really late double (88', 90') propelled FC Nurnberg into fifth place with a 2-0 road win over struggling VfL Bochum.
