At Nuremberg:
FC Nurnberg continued their steady climb up the Bundesliga standings following their 1-0 home win over Energie Cottbus (who, by losing, had now fallen into the relegation zone). Michael Beauchamp scored the games lone goal at 73 minutes.
At Bielefeld:
Theofanis Gekas tallied twice (2', 10') to lead VfL Bochum to defeat Arminia Bielefeld 2-1, allowing the guests to climb out of the dreaded drop zone.
