PSV Knocked Off By AZ

Four Matches were contested Saturday in the Dutch Eredivisie:

At Eindhoven:

Danny Koevermans provided the winning goal (89') as AZ Alkmaar handed PSV Eindhoven their second stright league defeat (and their first of the season at home) 3-2 to close within six points of the league leaders.

At Rotterdam:

Blaise N'Kufo, who was anything but blase, notched the game winner at 45 minutes to lead Twente Eschede, gunning for a UEFA Champions League berth, to a 2-1 road win over relegation-threatened Excelsior.

At Breda:

Glen Salmon scored twice (27', 73') to lead NAC Breda to a 2-1 win over visiting cellar-dwellers RKC Waalwijk.

At Almelo:

Willem II Tilburg and hosts SC Heracles Almelo played to a thrilling 2-2 stalemate. Kristof Imschoot gave The King's Army a 2-1 lead at 90 minutes, only to see the hosts' Everton Ramo da Sivla tie it up deep into stoppage time.
