At Tampa, Florida:
Two games were played on Saturday as Group C action in the CONCACAF Gold Cup continued.
In the opener, Dwayne De Rosario's successful penalty kick at 50 minutes provided all the scoring as Canada defeated Guadeloupe 1-0.
In the nightcap, Luis Tejada (18') and Gabriel Gomez (PK-35') provided the scoring as Panama held off the United States 2-1 and locked up a berth in the quarterfinal round.
