MLS: Chalk Up Another Home Draw For Chicago; Sounders and Crew Win At Home

Three games were played on Sunday in Major League Soccer.


At Bridgeview, Illinois:


Marco Pappa's 58th-minute equalizer carried the Chicago Fire to a 1-1 home draw with the New York Red Bulls.  The draw stretched Chicago's unbeaten string to seven games (six of them draws).  Joel Lindpere scored at 40 minutes for the visiting Red Bulls.


At Seattle:


Tysol Wahl (33') and Alvaro Fernandez (39') provided the scoring as the Seattle Sounders came from behind to overtake the visiting New England Revolution 2-1.


At Columbus, Ohio:


Andres Mendoza scored twice (18', 48') as the Columbus Crew overcame an early one-goal deficit and ended up dominating the visiting Colorado Rapids 4-1.
