Didier Drogba Hat Trick Lifts Chelsea

Here's a look back at Saturday's English Premier League action:

At London:

Chelsea, powered by Didier Drogba's hat trick (27', 35', 69'), belted visiting Watford 4-0.

At Blackburn:

Louis Saha scored the only goal (64') of Manchester United's 1-0 road win over Blackburn Rovers.

At Liverpool:

Chris Sutton scored his first goal for Aston Villa in the 41st minute as the visitors blanked Everton 1-0.

At Manchester:

Newcastle United and homestanding Manchester City battled to a 0-0 deadlock. The Magpies' Steve Harper and the Citizens' Nicky Weaver wound up with clean sheets.

At Middlesbrough:

Massimo Maccarone scored the long goal (74') in Middlesbrough's 1-0 home victory over struggling West Ham United.

At Portsmouth:

Andy Cole's 74-minute equalizer lifted Portsmouth to a 1-1 home stalemate with Fulham.

At Sheffield:

Sheffield United came back from down two goals to gain a home 2-2 draw with Bolton Wanderers. Rob Hulse (70') and Colin Kazim-Richards (73') scored for the Blades.

At Wigan:

Wigan Athletic, on goals from Lee McCulloch (13') , Henri Camara (41') , and Matt Jackson (78'), defeated visiting Charlton Athletic 3-2.
