Torsten Frings (32') and Diego (79') propelled first-place Werder Bremen to a 2-1 road win over FC Nurnberg.

At Mainz:

Mike Hanke (PK-4') and Christopher Lamprecht (84') powered VfL Wolfsburg to their third straight win, a 2-1 road win over Mainz.

At Dortmund:

Borussia Dortmund and visiting Alemania Aachen battled to a 0-0 stalemate. Dortmund's Roman Weidenfeller and his Aachen counterpart Kristian Nicht came away with clean sheets.
