At Hamburg:

With goals from Lucho Gonzalez (44'), Lisandro Lopez (61'), and sub Bruno Morales (87'), FC Porto not only kept themselves very much alive in Champions League contention, but placed themselves only one point off the top spot with their 3-0 road blanking of Hamburg, knocking HSV not only out of CL contention, but out of UEFA Cup contention as well.

GROUP H:

At Athens:

Nikolas Liberopoulos scored the only goal (74') in AEK Athens' 1-0 home win over Lille, placing the Greek side just one point behing the Mastiffs for second place in Group H.
