Five Sunday Matches In The Netherlands

Five games were played Sunday in the Dutch Eredivisie:

At Nijmegen:

Three goals in the final ten seconds powered NEC Nijmegan to an impressive 4-1 beating of visiting Feyenoord Rotterdam. Five different NEC players each scored a goal (including one who scored an own goal for Feyenoord).

At Rotterdam:

With goals from Yuri Rose (35'), Sjaak Polak (PK-58'), and Haris Medunjanin (83'), struggling Sparta Rotterdam belted visiting Ajax Amsterdam 3-0.

At Kerkrade:

Roda JC Kerkrade bounced back from a one-goal halftime deficit to defeat NAC Breda at home 3-2. Andres Oper (53'), Davy De Fauw (63'), and Adil Ramzi (81') scored for The Pride of the South Koempels.

At Groningen:

ADO Den Hagg, helped by Richard Knopper's double (27', 70'), picked up a road victory, 5-2, over FC Groningen.

At Heerenveen:

Shota Arveladze (27'), Danny Koevermans (81'), and Maarten Martens (85') provided the scoring punch as AZ Alkmaar came from behind to win on the road 3-1 over SC Heerenveen.
