At Birmingham:
Aston Villa, with goals from Gareth Barry (PK-41') and Juan Pablo Angel (50'), picked up a 2-0 home win against Blackburn.
At London:
Tottenham Hotspur came from behind to knock off guests Chelsa 2-1. Michael Dawson (25') and Aaron Lennon (52') provided the scoring for the Spurs.
