Saturday Six Pack In Germany

A half-dozen contests took place Saturday in the German Bundesliga:

At Frankfurt:

Ebi Smolarek's 78th-minute equalizer lifted Borussia Dortmund to a 1-1 road deadlock with Eintracht Frankfurt.

At Wolfsburg:

VfL Wolfsburg gained a 1-1 draw with visiting FC Nurnberg as Juan Carlos Menseguez deadlocked the match in the 74th minute.

At Hamburg:

Bayern Munich, with second-half goals from Roy Makaay (56') and Claudio Pizarro (78') , came from behind to defeat homestanding Hamburg 2-1.

At Bremen:

Miroslav Klose scored twice (29', 45') to help lead Werden Bremen to a 3-0 pasting of guests Arminia Bielefeld.

At Hannover:

Vahid Hashermian scored the only tally (75') in Hannover 96's 1-0 home win over Mainz.

At Berlin:

Powered by goals courtesy of Marko Pantelic (41') and Ashkan Dejagah (62'), Hertha Berlin collected all three points by beating Alemania Aachen at home 2-1.
