A Saturday Six-Pack In Germany

Six games were played Saturday in Germany's Bundesliga:

At Aachen:

Marco Streller scored twice (46', 63') to help lead VfB Stuttgart to a 4-1 road win over Alemania Aachen and move into temporary possession of second place in the Bundesliga standings.

At Wolfsburg:

Mike Hanke scored the only goal (19') as VfL Wolfsburg pinned a 1-0 defeat on struggling visiting Hamburg, who were coming off being elimated from European competition.

At Leverkusen:

FSV Mainz 05 and homestanding Bayer Leverkusen battled to a 1-1 draw.

At Bremen:

Ivan Klasnic's goal in the 76th minute enabled Werder Bremen to gain a 1-1 home draw with Energie Cottbus. Francis Kioyo tallied in the 49th minute for the visitors.

At Dortmund:

Alexander Frei's successful 90th minute penalty kick allowed Borussia Dortmund to salvage a 1-1 home deadlock with Arminia Bielefeld. Artur Wichniarek scored first (68') for the Die Arminen.

At Berlin:

Thanks to goals from Marko Pantelic (29', 65') homestanding Hertha Berlin handed 1. FC Nurnberg their first loss of the season, 2-1.
