SuperLiga: Revs Advance To Semis By Eliminating Fire; Pumas And Morelia Draw

The North American SuperLiga continued on Saturday with two games in Group B, both taking place at Bridgeview, Illinois.

In the opening contest, Marko Perovic scored the game's only goal at 77 minutes as the New England Revolution clinched a berth in the semifinal round with a 1-0 win over the Chicago Fire, eliminating the hosts from contention in this tournament.

In the nightcap, Leandro Augusto (68') and Javier Cortes (85') provided the second-half scoring that erased a two-goal deficit and gain for UNAM Pumas a 2-2 draw with Morelia.  Luis Gabriel Rey (2') and Hugo Droguett (53') staked Monarcas to their ill-fated two-goal lead with a goal apiece.
