AFC Champions League

 Four games were contested in AFC Champions League group-stage action on Tuesday with all games taking place in Qatar.

GROUP C:

At Education City Stadium, Doha:

In the opener, Ramin Rezaelan scored the game winner at 51 minutes as Al-Duhail (Qatar) defeated Sharjah (UAE) 2-1.

Game #2:

Shoja' Khalilzadeh scored the only goal of the match in the 63rd minute as Persepolis (Iran) defeated Al-Taawoun (Saudi Arabia) 1-0.

Group C Standings:

1. Al-Taawoun (GP: 3; GD: +2; PTS: 6)

2. Al-Duhail (GP: 3; GD: +1; PTS; 6)

3. Persepolis (GP: 3; GD: -1; PTS: 4)

GROUP D:

At Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, Doha:

In the opening contest, Goals from Kodjo Laba (5'), Bauyrzhan Islamkhan (38'), and Boualem Khoukhi (OG-67') enabled Al-Ain (UAE) to gain a 3-3 draw with Al-Sadd.

Akram Afif (35'), Santiago Cazorla (55'), and Baghdad Bounedjah (60') each scored a goal for the Qatari club.

Game #2:

Abdo Hamdallah scored twice (29', 48') as Al-Nassr (Saudi Arabia) blanked Iran's Sepahan 2-0.
