At Quito, Ecuador:

Five players each scored once as Independiente del Valle crushed visiting Flamengo 5-0.

At Guayaquil, Ecuador:

Miguel Borja scored the winning goal in the 70th minute as Atletico Junior defeated Barcelona (NOT that one) 2-1 on the road.
