Eryk Williamson (9') and Felipe Mora (83') delivered the scoring as the Portland Timbers knocked off the Seattle Sounders 2-1 on the road.
At Carson, California:
Sebastian Lletget scored twice (73', 83') as the Los Angeles Galaxy dominated the visiting Los Angeles Football Club 3-0 in the latest edition of the Freeway Derby.
