MLS: Sunday Wins For Timbers, Revs, Philly, Loons, Galaxy, Crew

 Eight games were contested on Sunday in Major League Soccer with all kickoff times Pacific.


At Washington:


The contest between DC United and visiting New York City resulted in the 0-0 stalemate.


At Harrison, New Jersey:


Brenden Aaronson (36'), Kacper Przybylko (68'), and Matt Real (78') each scored once as the Philadelphia Union dominated the New York Red Bulls 3-0 on the road.


The Red Bulls were run over in Bradley Carnell's first game as their interim head coach, having replaced the dismissed Chris Armas.


At Chicago:


Teal Bunbury scored twice (3', 54') as the New England Revolution defeated the Chicago Fire 2-1 on the road.


At Columbus, Ohio:


Gyasi Zardes scored twice (64', 71') as the  Columbus Crew dominated visiting FC Cincinnati 3-0 in the latest edition of the Buckeye State Derby.


At St. Paul, Minnesota:


Robin Lod scored twice (62', 90') as Minnesota United broke open what was a scoreless deadlock at halftime and destroyed visiting Real Salt Lake 4-0.


At Fort Lauderdale, Florida:


Inter Miami CF and visiting Nashville battled to a 0-0 draw.


At Seattle:


Eryk Williamson (9') and Felipe Mora (83') delivered the scoring as the Portland Timbers knocked off the Seattle Sounders 2-1 on the road.


At Carson, California:


Sebastian Lletget scored twice (73', 83') as the Los Angeles Galaxy dominated  the visiting Los Angeles Football Club 3-0 in the latest edition of the Freeway Derby.
