AFC Champions League

Three West Zone games were contested in the group stage of the AFC Champions League on Sunday in Qatar.

GROUP A:

At Khalifa International Stadium, Doha:

Iran's Esteghlal and Iraq's Al-Shorta battled to a 1-1 draw.

Mazin Fayyadh's goal in the 26th minute put the Iraqi club in front, only to see Amir Motahari equalized for the Iranian club at 68 minutes.

At Al Janoub Stadium, Al Wakrah:

Game #1:

Shahr Khodro, already eliminated from the tournament, held Al-Hilal to a 0-0 stalemate.

Game #2:

In another 0-0 deadlock, Shabab Al-Ahli (UAE) took on Uzbekistan's Pakhtakor Tashkent

Group B Standings:
