At Education City Stadium, Doha:

Game #1:

Almoez Ali scored the only goal of the match in the 59th minute with his successfully-converted penalty kick as Al-Duhail defeated Persepolis 1-0.

Game #2:

Welliton Soares de Morais produced a hat trick (GP: 49', 57', 61') as Sharjah made mince meat of Al-Taawoun 6-0.

Group C Standings:

Game #1:

Al-Sadd (Qatar) battled Al-Nassr (Saudi Arabia)to a 1-1 stalemate.

Khalid Al Ghannam put the Saudi club up a goal with his goal in the 22nd minute.

However, Baghdad Bounedjah equalized for the squad from the host nation in the 87th minute as Al-Sadd locked up a berth in the knockout stage.

Game #2:

Sepahan (Iran) and Al-Ain (UAE) battled to a 0-0 deadlock.
