AFC Champions League: Al-Nassr Advance To Knockout Stage; Al-Ain Eliminated

 Four West Zone group-stage games were played in the AFC Champions League on Friday in Doha, Qatar.

GROUP C:

At Education City Stadium:

Igor Coronado converted a penalty kick in the 75th minute for the game-winning goal as Sharjah (UAE) doubled up Qatar's Al-Duhail 4-2 in the first of two games.

In the nightcap, Bashar Rasan converted his spot kick in the 48th minute as Persepolis of Iran defeated Saudi Arabia's Al-Taawoun 1-0.

Group C Standings:

GROUP D:

At Jassim bin Hamad Stadium:

In the opener, Baghdad Bounedjah scored twice (26', 70') as Al-Sadd eliminated Al-Ain from the tournament 4-0.

In the nightcap, Abdullah Madu (32') and Abdo Hamdallah (41') each scored once as Al-Nassr blanked Sepahan 2-0 to lock up a berth in the knockout stage.
