MLS: SKC, Impact, LAFC Grab Sunday Wins; California Clasico Goose Eggs For Quakes And Galaxy In San Jose

Four games were played in Major League Soccer on Sunday.


At Kansas City, Kansas:


Johnny Russell scored the game's lone goal in the 80th minute as Sporting Kansas City defeated visiting Minnesota United 1-0.


At Vancouver, British Columbia:


Samuel Piette scored the winning goal in the 51st minute as the Montreal Impact doubled up the Vancouver Whitecaps 4-2 on the road.


At Los Angeles:


Mark Anthony-Kaye (37'), Diego Rossi (41'), Bradley Wright-Phillips (45'+1), and Danny Musovski (90'+5) each scored once as the Los Angeles Football Club doubled up the visiting Portland Timbers 4-2.


At San Jose, California:


The San Jose Earthquakes and visiting Los Angeles Galaxy battled to a 0-0 California Clasico stalemate.
