Group-stage play in the AFC Champions League resumed on Thursday with three West Zone games contested in Qatar.

GROUP A:

 At Khalifa International Stadium, Doha:

In the opener, Mazim Fayyadh scored the winning goal in the 65th minute as Iraq's Al-Shorta defeated Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli 2-1.

Pedro Conde's goal in the opening game carried Shabab Al-Ahli to a 1-0 victory over Shahr Khodro, who were eliminated from the tournament.

In the nightcap, Pakhtakor Tashkent and Al-Hilal battled to a 0-0 stalemate.
