Copa America: Uruguay Wins Group B Opener; Argentina and Paraguay Draw

Two Saturday contests took place in Group B of the Copa America, taking place in Chile.

At Antofagasta:

Cristian Rodriguez scored the only goal of Uruguay's 1-0 victory over Jamaica (a member of CONCACAF).

At La Serena:

Nelson Haedo Valdez (59') and Lucas Barrios (89') each scored a goal as Paraguay battled back from a two-goal deficit to gain a 2-2 draw with Argentina.  Sergio Aguero (28') and Lionel Messi (PK-35') each scored a goal for the White and Sky Blue.
