FIFA 2018 World Cup Qualifying (CONCACAF): Saint Lucia, Barbados Take Series Openers on the Road; SVG and Guyana Draw; Aruba and Cuba ,Too

Four games were contested on Wednesday as the second round of CONCACAF regional qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup continued.

At Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines:

Cornelius Stewart (49') and Tevin Slater (83') each scored a goal as Saint Vincent and the Grenadines salvaged a series-opening 2-2 home draw with Guyana.  Brandon Beresford (26') and Daniel Wilson (75') each tallied once for the Golden Jaguars.

At North Sound, Antigua and Barbuda:

Tremain Paul (26'), David Henry (61'), and Troy Greenidge (90'+1) delivered the scoring as Saint Lucia downed Antigua and Barbuda 3-1 on the road in the opening contest of their two-game series.

At Oranjestad, Aruba:

Mario Harte (18') and Emerson Boyce (28') each produced a goal as Barbados, despite ending the game with ten men, defeated Aruba 2-0 on the road in the opening game of their two-match series.

At Willemstad, Curacao:

The opening match between Curacao (who ended the game with ten men) and visiting Cuba ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
