MLS: NYCFC, Reds, Impact, SKC, Lions, Caps, Timbers Grab Saturday Wins

Seven games were contested in Major League Soccer on Saturday.

At Chester, Pennsylvania:

Patrick Mullins scored the winning goal in the 87th minute as New York City FC their eleven-match winless streak with a 2-1 road win over the Philadelphia Union.

At Washington:

Sebastian Giovinco scored twice (34', 83') as Toronto FC snapped DC United's 20-match home unbeaten run with a 2-1 triumph.

At Columbus, Ohio:

Second-half goals courtesy of Maxim Tissot (55') and Andres Romero (79') guided the Montreal Impact to a 2-1 road win over the Columbus Crew that snapped their 25-match road winless streak.

At Kansas City, Kansas:

Benny Feilhaber's successful penalty kick in the 84th minute lifted Sporting Kansas City to a 1-0 home win over the Seattle Sounders.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Two own goals from Adailton (40', 86'; he became the first player in MLS history to have two own goals in one game), as well as Cyle Larin's 82nd-minute tally, carried Orlando City to a 3-2 road win over the Chicago Fire.

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Kekuta Manneh scored the only goal of the Vancouver Whitecaps' 1-0 home win over the Los Angeles Galaxy in the 32nd minute.  It marked only the third time in their 20-year history that the Galaxy were held without a shot on goal.

At Portland, Oregon:

Fanendo Adi scored twice in the waning minutes (86', 89') as the Portland Timbers won their third straight game---a regular-season first in their MLS history---2-0 over the visiting New England Revolution.
