MLS: Timbers Blank Philly For Their Fourth Straight Home League Win

At Portland, Oregon:


Mamadou Danso scored the only goal of the match at 72 minutes as the Portland Timbers blanked the visiting Philadelphia Union 1-0 in the only Friday Major League Soccer contest.  The win was Portland's fourth straight in league play at home and their fourth in their last five MLS games overall.
