At Tashkent, Uzbekistan:

Temurkuja Abdukholiquv scored the only goal of Lokomotiv Tashkent's 1-0 victory over visiting Sepahan in the 54th minute.

At Dubai, United Arab Emirates:

Al-Nasr and  Al-Ittihad battled to a 0-0 stalemate.

Augusto Cesar (59') and Saeed Aghaei (83') each scored a goal as Tractor Sazi blanked visiting Pakhtakor Tashkent 2-0.

At Riyadh, Saudi Arabia:

Ailton Jose Almeida scored the only goal of the match in the 36th minute as Al-Hilal defeated visiting Al-Jazira 1-0 and knocked the club from the Emirates out of the tournament.

At Ninjing, China:

Masato Morishige scored twice (30', 83') as FC Tokyo defeated Jiangsu Suning 3-2 on the road.

Wu Lei (66') and Lu Wenjun (72') each scored a goal in the final half-hour as Shanghai SIPG knocked off Gamba Osaka 2-0 on the road.

At Suwon, South Korea:

Kosta Barbarouses' equalizer in the 60th minute lifted the Melbourne Victory to a 1-1 road draw with Suwon Samsung Bluewings.  Kwon Chang-hoon scored for the hosts in the 58th minute.
