CAF Champions League

The second round of the CAF Champions League commenced on Saturday with six games.

At Omdurman, Sudan:

ES Setif gained a series-opening 2-2 road draw with Al-Merrikh.

At Marrakech, Morocco:

Wydad Casablanca blanked visiting TP Mazembe 2-0 in the opening contest of their two-game series.

At Bamako, Mali:

ZESCO United knocked off hosts Stade Malien 3-1 on the road in their series opener.

At Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania:

Egypt's Al-Ahly with Amr Gamal scoring in the 11th minute, gained a 1-1 series-opening road draw with Young Africans. An own goal scored by Al-Ahly's Ahmed Hagazy in the 19th minute enabled the hosts to salvage the home draw.

At Abidjan, Ivory Coast:

In the opening match of their two-game series ASEC Mimosas blanked visiting Al-Ahly Tripoli of Libya 2-0.

At Cairo:

Zamalek blanked visiting MO Bejaia of Algeria 2-0 in game one.
