Two games were played in Group A of the OFC Champions League----both contested at Auckland, New Zealands QBE Stadium----on Wednesday.
In the opener, Giorgio Bertacchi delivered the equalizer in the second minute of second-half stoppage time to carry Amicale FC of Vanuatu to a 1-1 draw with the Solomon Warriors. Dennis Ifunaoa scored in the 52nd minute for the now-eliminated club from the Solomon Islands.
In the nightcap, Joao Moreira scored the winning goal in the 89th minute as Auckland City defeated (and eliminated) Lae City Dwellers 2-1.
