Copa Libertadores: Toluca Advance To Knockout Stage; Emelec Eliminated

Four matches were contested on Tuesday as group-stage play in the Copa Libertadores resumed.

GROUP ONE:

At Sao Paulo, Brazil:

Jonathan Calleri delivered a quadruple (12', PK-49', 79', 86') as Sao Paulo annihilated visiting Trujillanos 6-0.



GROUP FOUR:

At Buenos Aires:

Ramon Abila scored twice (23', 30') as Huracan doubled up visiting Sporting Cristal 4-2.

Enrique Triverio scored the winning goal in the 62nd minute as Toluca defeated visiting LDU Quito 2-1 and locked up a berth in the knockout stage.

Wilker Angel scored the only goal of the match in the 20th minute as Deportivo Tachira eliminated Club Sport Emelec from the tournament by defeating the visiting Ecuadorian club 1-0.
