MLS: Impact, TFC, Crew, Rapids, RSL, Sounders, Timbers Gain Saturday Wins

Seven games were contested in Major League Soccer on Saturday.

Bridgeview, Illinois:

Dominic Oduro assisted on goals from Didier Drogba (56') and Ignacio Piatti (90'+1) as the Montreal Impact came from behind to upend the Chicago Fire 2-1 on the road.

At Washington:

Sebastian Giovinco's goal in the opening minute held up as Toronto FC knocked off hosts DC United 1-0.

At Columbus, Ohio:

In the Columbus Crew's 3-2 home win over visiting New York City, their first of the season, Justin Meram had a hand in all three Columbus goals, assisting on tallies from Ethan Finlay (7') and Kei Kamara (49'), before scoring the game winner himself in the 80th minute.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Dominique Badji scored the winning goal in the 82nd minute as the Colorado Rapids defeated the visiting New York Red Bulls 2-1 in a contest which was delayed for a half-hour due to blizzard conditions.

At Sandy, Utah:

Juan Manuel Martinez scored the only goal of the match in the 55th minute as Real Salt Lake defeated the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps 1-0.

At Seattle:

Chad Marshall (41') and Jordan Morris (71') each scored a goal as the Seattle Sounders held off the visiting Philadelphia Union 2-1.  Andreas Ivanschitz assisted on both Seattle goals.

At Portland, Oregon:

Fanendo Adi scored twice (65', 90'+9) as the Portland Timbers snapped a five-match winless streak by holding off the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 3-1.
