MLS: Stoppage Time Equalizer Gains Road Draw For Sounders; Goose Eggs In The Bronx; Galaxy Salvage Home Draw With Timbers

Three games were contested in Major League Soccer on Sunday.

At Houston:

Chad Marshall's equalizer in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time gained for the visiting Seattle Sounders a 1-1 draw with the Houston Dynamo.  Giles Barnes scored in the 35th minute for the hosts. 

At The Bronx, New York City:

The Chicago Fire held hosts New York City to a 0-0 stalemate.

At Carson, California:

Nat Borchers' own goal in the 82nd minute enabled the Los Angeles Galaxy to salvage a 1-1 home draw with the Portland Timbers, whose score came in the 52nd minute from Fanendo Adi.
