After Islam Slimani (84') and Fredy Montero (90'+3; remember him Seattle Sounders fans?) each scored a goal in the final minutes to erase a two-goal deficit, Sporting CP, after a 2-2 regulation draw that was followed by 30 minutes of scoreless overtime, and with Adrien Silva, Nani, and the aforementioned Islam Slimani all converting their spot kicks, won the penalty kick shootout against Sporting Braga 3-1 and won their 16th Taca de Portugal title on Sunday.
