MLS: Lions Devour Galaxy For First Home Victory; Late Goal Carries Philly Past DCU

Two games were contested in Major League Soccer on Sunday.

At Orlando, Florida:

Eric Avila (12'), Cyle Larin (34'), Kaka (PK-56'), and Darwin Ceren (73') each scored a goal while Tally Hall pitched a shutout as Orlando City picked up their first-ever home victory, a 4-0 whitewashing of the Los Angeles Galaxy.

At Chester, Pennsylvania:

Zach Pfeffer scored the only goal of the match in the third minute of second-half stoppage time as the Philadelphia Union snapped a four-game losing streak by knocking off visiting DC United 1-0, ending the guests' eight-match unbeaten run.
