MLS: Stoppage-Time Heroics Gain Road Draw For Fire; Late Goal Carries Galaxy Past Dynamo

Two Major League Soccer matches were contested on Friday.

At Columbus, Ohio:

Jason Johnson's equalizer in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time lifted the Chicago Fire to a 2-2 road deadlock with the Columbus Crew, bouncing back from a two-goal deficit to do so. David Accam scored the other Chicago goal in the 58th minute while Kai Kamara scored both Columbus tallies in the eighth and 55th minutes.

At Carson, California:

Alan Gordon scored the only goal of the match in the second minute of second-half stoppage time as the Los Angeles Galaxy defeated the visiting Houston Dynamo 1-0.
