Beavers and Porto Win; Two Draws In Portugal

Four games were played on Sunday in the Portuguese BwinLiga:

At Coimbra:

Geraldo (12') and Renato Queiros(80') provided the scoring for Pacos de Ferreira as the visiting Beavers blanked Academica de Coimbra 2-0.

At Funchal, Madeira:

Adriano (18') and Jose Raul Meireles (27') provided first-half tallies for league-leading FC Porto as the visitors held off Maritimo 2-1.

At Setubal:

Visiting (and last-place) Desportivo das Aves battled Vitoria Setubal to a 1-1 draw. Kevin Amuneke put Vitoria in front at 12 minutes, only to see the guests' Paulo Sergio tie it up at 24 minutes.

At Braga:

Sporting Braga climbed up to fourth place in the BwinLiga standings following their 0-0 home stalemate with relegation-threatened Beira Mar.
