Spurs Deliver Cruel Blow To Hammers' Survival Chances; Benni Doubles In Rovers Win

Two games were played Sunday in the English Premier League:

At London:

With West Ham United leading 3-2, Tottenham Hotspur's Dimitar Berbatov equalized at 89 minutes, then, in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time, Paul Stalteri bagged home the game winner (pictured here, beating Hammers' goalkeeper Robert Green (Photo by Phil Cole, Getty Images), as Spurs bounced back to win on the road 4-3, and sending the basement-occupying Hammers closer to the League Championship.

At Bolton:

Two successful penalty kicks from Benni McCarthy (58', 68') lifted Blackburn to a 2-1 road win over Bolton.
