Jefferson Farfan (3') and Eduardo Alcides (18') provided the goals as league-leading PSV Eindhoven got the best of relegation threatened RKC Waalwijk at home 2-0.
At Tilburg:
The match between visiting Sparta Rotterdam and Willem II Tilburg ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
At Groningen:
FC Groningen climbed back into the UEFA Cup playoff spots with their 3-1 home win over NAC Breda. Mark-Jan Fledderus (7'), Erik Nevland (67'), and Koen Van Der Laak (PK-78') provided the tallies for The Pride of the North.
At Arnhem:
Excelsior climbed out of the relegation-playoff zone with a come-from-behind 3-2 road win over Vitesse Arnhem. Johan Voskamp (64'), Eldridge Rojer (84'), and Andwele Slory (86') provided the second-half scoring for the Roodzwarten.
