At Hannover:
Both goals in the contest between league-leading FC Schalke 04 and hosts Hannover 96 were scored in the first four minutes as the contest ended stalemated at 1-1. Halil Altintop gave the Royal Blues the lead at two minutes, only to see Reds tie it up on Michael Tarnat's equalizer at four minutes.
At Stuttgart:
VfB Stuttgart blew opportunities to move into second and gain ground on table-topping Schalke 04 by being held to a 0-0 home draw by VfL Wolfsburg.
At Mochengladbach:
Nando Rafael's double (32', 69') helped lead basement occupants Borussia Mochengladbach defeat visiting Hertha Berlin 3-1.
At Cottbus:
Alemania Aachen, powered by goals from Sascha Rosler (28') and Sergio Pinto (90'), defeated relegation-threatened Energia Cottbus 2-0 on the road.
At Bochum:
Thanks to the two-goal performance from Theofanis Gekas (48', 83'), VfL Bochum climbed out of the relegation zone with their 2-0 home win over Borussia Dortmund.
At Mainz:
Leon Adreasen's succesful penalty kick at 51 minutes provided the lone score in the match as Mainz continued their climb away from the relegation zone in their 1-0 home win over second-from-bottom Arminia Bielefeld.
