Old Firm Clubs Fit To Be Tied; 2-0 Home Wins For Falkirk and Motherwell; Aberdeen Still In Hunt For CL Spot

Five games were played Saturday in the Scottish Premier League:

At Dundee:

Jon Daly equalizer during second-half stoppage time lifted Dundee United to a 1-1 home draw, further setting back visiting Celtic's plans for wrapping up the league title.

At Glasgow:

Craig Dargo's equalizer (82') enabled Inverness Caledonian Thistle to gain a 1-1 road draw against second-place Rangers. Caley Thistle picked up two wins and a draw this league season against 'Jers.

At Kilmarnock:

James Fowler's own goal (59) combined with Russell Anderson's tally (69') lifted Aberdeen to a 2-1 road win over Kilmarnock and set the Dons five points in back of Rangers for the SPL's second Champions League berth.

At Falkirk:

Pedro Moutinho (20') and Stephen O'Donnell (40') provided the scoring to propel Falkirk to a 2-0 home win over second-bottom St. Mirren.

At Motherwell:

Scott McDonald's double (PK-51', 62') provided all the scoring as Motherwell dealt visiting---and relegation-threatened---Dunfermline a critical 2-0 setback.
