Jozy Makes Things Rosy For Team USA; Mexico Didn't Help Sven's Cause; Costa Rica Blank El Salvador

Three games were played Wednesday night in CONCACAF zone qualifying for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

At Nashville, Tennessee:

Jozy Altidore's hat trick (13', 71', 78') powered the United States to a 3-0 home beatdown of Trinidad and Tobago.

At San Pedro Sula, Honduras:

Carlos Costly's double (17', 79') helped pace Honduras to a 3-1 home win over Mexico and their embattled coach Sven-Goran Erikkson.

At San Jose, Costa Rica:

Walter Centeno's goal at 68 minutes was the game's lone tally as Costa Rica defeated visiting El Salvador 1-0.
