At Tukwila, Washington:
Sabastien La Toux scored twice (PK-25', 54') as Seattle Sounders FC defeated fellow MLS club Real Salt Lake 4-1 on Tuesday.
At Santa Clara, California:
Mike Petke (2') and John Wolyniec (80') provided the goals as the New York Red Bulls knocked off the San Jose Earthquakes 2-1 on the road.
