Red Bulls Blank RSL; Wizards Roar Back To Gain Home Draw; Galaxy Gain Draw In Oakland; Goats Blank Sounders

Four contests populated Saturday's Major League Soccer schedule.

At East Rutherford, New Jersey:

The New York Red Bulls rang up their first win of the season as they blanked visiting Real Salt Lake 2-0. Macoumba Kandji (2') and Juan Pablo Angel (57') provided the Red Bulls with their first non-own goals of the season.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Josh Wolfe's late double (78', 89') lifted the Kansas City Wizards to a 2-2 road draw with the Chicago Fire, canceling out the Fire's Brian McBride's own double (12', 20')

At Oakland, California:

A late goal from Bryan Jordan (76')enabled the Los Angeles Galaxy to gain a 1-1 road stalemate with the San Jose Earthquakes. Pablo Campos scored in the 5th minute for the Quakes who were playing a home game away from their temporary home.

At Carson, California:

Chivas USA remained undefeated as they blanked visiting Seattle Sounders FC 2-0. Seattle's James Riley scored an own goal at 32, and the Goats' own Chukwudi Chijindu added another at 84 minutes.
