DIEGO'S DOUBLE NETS FIRST EUROPEAN CLUB TITLE SINCE 1965 FOR NERAZZURRI

At Madrid:

Diego Milito scored both goals (35', 70', that's him celebrating above) as Inter Milan won their first European club championship since 1965 as the Nerazzurri won the UEFA Champions League final 2-0 Saturday over Bayern Munich.  It was Inter's third continental crown overall (1964. 1965, 2010).  For Jose Mourinho, it was his second title as a coach, having led FC Porto to the crown in 2004.  With the win, Inter Milan wound up with the treble for the season, the Serie A title, the Coppa Italia triumph over AS Roma, and now, the European club championship.  They will play this coming December in the FIFA Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
