Final Standings: Portugal

Here's a rundown of the final standings in the Portuguese Liga for this season:

3. FC Porto (GP: 30; GD: +44; PTS; 68)

Benfica gained an automatic berth in the group stage of next season's UEFA Champions League while Sporting Braga will enter the Champions League's third qualifying round.  FC Porto will take part in the playoff round in the Europa League while Sporting CP will participate in that tournament's third qualifying round and Maritimo will play in the second qualifying round.  Belenenses and Leixoes were relegated down to the League of Honor (second division), replaced by Beira-Mar and Portimonense.
