At Auckland, New Zealand:
Despite dropping a 2-1 road decision to Waitakere United in game two of their OFC Champions League two-match final, PRK Hekari United became the first club from outside Australia and New Zealand to win the championship of Oceania's big club soccer tournament 4-2 on aggregate, with Kema Jack helping to salt away the title with his 35th-minute penalty kick. The club from Papua New Guinea will represent Oceania in December's FIFA Club World Cup, which will take place in the United Arab Emirates.
