Eddie Gaven (35'), Andy Iro (38'), and Emilio Renteria (83') each scored a goal as the Columbus Crew defeated the New York Red Bulls 2-1 on the road.
At Frisco, Texas:
Mike Magee scored the only goal of the match at 17 minutes as the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy remained unbeaten with a 1-0 road win over FC Dallas.
