Adam Le Fondre scored the only goal of the match at 88 minutes as Rotherham United took the opening match of their two-game League Two semifinal series 1-0 on the road against Aldershot Town. The Millers will host the rematch on Wednesday at Sheffield, England with the winner to advance to the promotion final at London's Wembley Stadium to face the winner of the Morecambe-Dagenham & Redbridge series on May 30 for promotion to League One.
